Every time I go on a trip to Dobrogea, I try to go into every tavern to observe the atmosphere and the interior design. They tend to decorate the chic interior, to invite clients, simple and poor people, neighbors and friends after an exhausting day of work.
Most are very friendly and curious, so it's not hard for me to talk to them. If they are pretty open to make a portrait, I buy a beer and join them to create a more relaxed atmosphere.
The most optimistic situation is when I find several taverns on the same street. Sometimes I get there after a party and find all kind of baloons and funny decorations.
Billiard tables are the most widespread, and the most captivating from an aesthetic point of view.
You usually do not learn too much about them, they are focused on the game, or they are the ones asking you questions.
I do not have to spend a lot of time in a single place because I'm too excited to look for other places. Everyday life does not allow me to travel as often as a photographer, but I'm trying to be better evey time.
